Built on the beliefs that every child should be able to participate, enrollment costs will be kept low, and that fundamentals will be properly taught to children and coaches by the high school staff; this program was founded in 2013 and has the overwhelming support of the community.

Our focus in the format of our league and program is to have a later starting date and also bring down the registration costs, while opening our arms to all children that would like to participate. The great thing about this program is that it is our program. We do not answer to any other association. If we want to see something changed or added, we can make the decision as a program and league. This fall we will be beginning our 13th season of Colonie Junior Wolf Pack Football. We look forward to continued success and the continued support from the community and the High School football program.

We feel that offering the best brand of youth football is a must and we have taken every avenue to make sure that happens. We have purchased brand new state of the art equipment for our children, to ensure their safety and enjoyment of the sport. We play our games at West Albany Memorial Field (Pocket Park). Our home field is a community field that offers our program the opportunity to be centrally located and it gives our kids the chance to play on a tremendous grass field with lights. Our coaches are coached by professional educators. The school football program’s coaches will be directing the youth coaches and players in our program. They will help them with day to day planning of practices, skills, drills, techniques and offer the youth coaches support through the use of video editing software (HUDL).We want to promote the game of football to all children within our community and the South Colonie School District.

Football is a game for many ages and all different sizes. Football teaches many life lessons that children can benefit from. Our goal is to keep all children actively engaged in the sport of football and give them many opportunities to play the sport throughout the year and throughout their life. We encourage our children to play more than one sport throughout the year. 2026 Seaaon Start Date is Monday August 17th, 2026 at The West Albany Pocket Park

Opening Day for the 2026 season is Saturday September 12th, 2026.

Tackle will practice Monday - Thursday 5:30pm-8pm for the first two weeks before the new school year begins. Once school starts, Tackle practice will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm-8pm. All practices to be held at The West Albany Pocket Park.

*Flag season will begin Monday August 17th.

Jr Flag will practice Monday and Wednesday for the first two weeks before the new school year begins from 6pm-7pm.

Once school starts, they'll continue the same days and times. All practices to be held at the West Albany Pocket Park.

Sr Flag, 3/4 Boys Flag, 3/4 Girls Flag and 5/6 Girls Flag will practice Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday for the first two weeks before the new school year from 6pm-7:30pm.

*Girls 5/6 Flag practice days subject to change based on participation.*

Once school starts, practice will be Monday an Wednesday from 6pm-7:30pm. All practices to be held at the West Albany Pocket Park. 

Players on all levels of play will need cleats and mouthguards to participate.
